I bought this to use to power a spotlight inside a building because it is advertised to be able to do so. The problem is that the spotlight is 10 amps and the converter only powers things up to 6 amps. Don't buy this if you want to power any of the popular large spotlights available in department stores. It will be a waste of your money. It may work fine with other, smaller wattage items but I don't need it for them. Someone else will have to review it for that. The Amazon service was excellent: the product arrived quickly and in good condition. As for the price: any price is too high if the product doesn't work as advertised. And if you are thinking I should have checked the wattage first--you are right, I should have. Make sure you do the same if buying this to power a spotlight.
